September 20 Arklow Library Culture Night Portrait Marathon
Book a 40 minute portrait sitting with artist Conor Walton in Arklow Library on Friday 20th September. There are 18 slots running from 10am to 10pm. The entire event is public and can be viewed on location or via livestream on social media and the Culture Ireland website. The portraits will be hung in the Library's exhibition space as they are completed. Sitters must be over five years of age. Conor's Portrait Marathon is an event for Ireland's Culture Night and is supported by Wicklow County Council Arts Office. Sitters will receive their portrait for free after the event.

Lecture in National Gallery of Ireland Conor will deliver a lecture in the National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square, Dublin, on 'Great Drawings in the Gallery's Collection'. This will be part of the gallery's month-long celebration of The Art of Drawing.
May 17 - June 25 Royal Hibernian Academy 175th Annual Exhibition Conor has been invited to participate in this year's exhibition.
June 15 - September 25 BP Portrait Award 2005 The National Portrait Gallery, St. Martin's Place, London, UK. Conor came fourth in this year's BP Portrait Award. His portrait will be on view there until September, before going on tour to the Sunderland Museum (October 6 - November 27, 2005) and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery (December 17, 2005-March 12, 2006).
July 9 - 30 Portrait Ireland 2005 Newtownbarry House Gallery, Bunclody, Co. Wexford. Conor has won the major award in this year's exhibition.
